It's Walk Day!

Walk2

One of the most commonly asked questions we hear is: what can I expect the day of the Walk?

1. Get ready, get set!

The Walk for Awareness takes place rain or shine. Free parking is available at Englewood Hospital. Please follow 'Event Parking' signs to access the lot.

2. Make the most of your day!

Registration and pre-Walk activities begin at 11 am. Please remember to check-in at our registration desk to pick up your Walk t-shirt.

3. Take-off!

Walkers will line up at the Englewood Field Club, across the street from Englewood Health at 1 pm for a 5K loop through the City of Englewood.

4. Have fun!

Enjoy the sights and remember to say hello to our friends and partners stationed through the Walk. They will offer water and snacks to help you along the way.

About the Walk for Awareness

Englewood Health Foundation’s annual Walk for Awareness was first organized in 1998 by Paul* and Jill Fader. The Walk mobilizes hundreds of participants each year and raises funds to provide uninsured women in our community with access to a range of healthcare services including mammograms, genetic testing and other screening and diagnostic testing at The Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center. The Susan Lucianna Memorial Dog Walk, launched in 2008 by Diane Lucianna in memory of her sister, Susan, gives participants an opportunity to have their furry best friend join in on the fun. To date, the Walk for Awareness has raised over $2 million.
